The Best UX Design / User Experience category recognizes projects that push the boundaries of interaction design in XR—prioritizing clarity, responsiveness, and emotional engagement. Whether guiding users through complex narratives or simplifying exploration, the focus is on how effortlessly users can navigate and immerse themselves in the experience.
Eligible projects must have been produced at least 30% within Europe and will be judged on usability, accessibility, innovation, and the overall quality of the user journey. The winning project will exemplify how smart UX design can elevate immersion and deepen connection in virtual spaces.

Creators requiring financial aid may qualify for €100 euro off nomination fees and complimentary tickets to attend the XR Awards Gala through the Creators Fund.
