1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the ownership, purchase, and retention of AIXR XR Awards trophies ("Trophy" or "Award"). By purchasing or receiving a Trophy, you ("Recipient") agree to these Terms. The XR Awards and its Trophies are organized by the Academy of International Extended Reality ("AIXR" or "Organizer").

2. Ownership and Custodial Responsibility
2.1 Ownership: The Trophy remains the sole property of AIXR. It is entrusted to the Recipient or their descendants as custodians, who must ensure its safekeeping.

2.2 Prohibition of Transfer: The Trophy must not be sold, transferred, or otherwise disposed of to any third party. Any unauthorized sale or transfer is considered a breach of these Terms.

2.3 Right of Reclamation: If the Trophy is no longer in the care of the Recipient or their descendants, AIXR reserves the right to reclaim it by repurchasing it for £1.

3. Eligibility and Customization
3.1 Eligibility: Only official winners of the XR Awards, as determined by the Organizer, are eligible to purchase or receive a Trophy.

3.2 Customization:

The Trophy's category and accolade ("Accolades") are final and cannot be altered.
Key art customization is available for an additional fee, requiring high-resolution, high-DPI artwork or vector graphics submitted at checkout. Failure to provide suitable artwork may delay production.
4. Manufacturing and Delivery
4.1 Production Timeline: The Trophies are custom-made, with a manufacturing and delivery period of up to 8 weeks. Orders placed within 12 days of the Event receive priority processing.

4.2 Damage Reporting: Any damages or defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

4.3 Non-Refundable: Due to the custom nature of the Trophy, all sales are final. Once an order is processed, refunds or cancellations are not permitted.

5. Care and Display
5.1 Respectful Display: The Trophy is a symbol of achievement and should be displayed in a manner befitting its significance.

5.2 Duty of Care: The Recipient and their descendants are responsible for maintaining the Trophy in good condition. Improper use, neglect, or failure to care for the Trophy may result in AIXR reclaiming it.

6. Liability
6.1 Limited Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, AIXR accepts no liability for:

Indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from the use or display of the Trophy.
Damage, theft, or loss of the Trophy after delivery.
6.2 Third-Party Services: AIXR is not responsible for any issues arising from third-party vendors involved in manufacturing, customization, or delivery. Such issues must be addressed directly with the service provider.

7. Data Protection and Privacy
7.1 Use of Personal Information: The Recipient’s personal data will be processed in accordance with AIXR's Privacy Policy. This includes using data for the purpose of manufacturing, customization, and delivery of the Trophy.

7.2 Third-Party Sharing: Data may be shared with authorized third-party contractors solely for the purposes of fulfilling orders, in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR.

8. Force Majeure
AIXR is not liable for delays or non-performance of its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, supplier issues, or governmental actions.

9. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Changes to Terms
AIXR reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Recipients will be informed of significant changes via official communication channels. Continued retention of the Trophy constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
