What is the AIXR Diversity XR Grant?
The AIXR Diversity XR Grant is a dedicated effort to provide financial assistance and industry recognition to talented creators looking to nominate for the XR Awards.
Focused on supporting individuals from underrepresented groups, this grant covers up to 100% of nomination fees for the XR Awards, making it easier for diverse voices to be heard and celebrated. Up to 10 projects will be awards in 2024.
How to Apply:
- Check Eligibility: Review the detailed eligibility criteria and ensure you meet the requirements.
- Prepare Your Application: Gather all necessary information, including a description of your project, your personal diversity narrative, and a statement of financial need.
- Submit Online: Complete the online application form and upload any required supporting documents before the deadline.

- Grant Application Opens: Tuesday March 05 2024
- Application Deadline: Tuesday 28 May 2024
- Announcement of Recipients: Tuesday 7 June 2024
You must meet the Eligibility Criteria
- Independent Creators: Individuals or small teams with a focus on XR innovation.
- Underrepresented Groups in XR: Priority given to creators from diverse backgrounds, including people of color, women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and people with disabilities.
- Innovative Contribution: Your work should contribute significantly to the XR industry. Up to 10 projects will be awarded in 2024
- Financial Need: A clear demonstrated requirement for financial assistance in covering the XR Awards nomination fees.
- The project lead / main creator should be the one to submit the application. Please set aside a few hours in order to complete the process.
